Whole Health Program
About the Program
It all starts with the question “What matters most to you in your life?” Answering this is the first step in a new model called Whole Health.
Whole Health is designed to help Veterans achieve and maintain their best health and well-being. Our department will empower you to begin developing your personalized health plan shaped around what matters to you most, equip you with the tools and support you need to proactively care for your health in our wellbeing programs, and treat you with complementary and integrative health modalities with licensed clinicians trained in developing healing relationships with their patients.

Veterans who receive their care through the Fargo VA Health Care System can utilize the following services:
- Whole Health Group Coaching (Taking Charge of My Life & Health)
- Whole Health Individual Coaching
- Eat Well, Be Well nutrition class
- Tai Chi
- Chiropractic care

Working Your Body
Gentle Yoga: Mondays 4:30-5:30 p.m. in room 2E-25 (Whole Health Wellness Center)
Warrior One Yoga: Tuesdays 3-4 p.m. in room 2E-25 & Fridays 4-5 p.m. in room 2E-25
Yoga Foundations: Wednesdays 3-4 p.m. in room 2E-25
Tai Chi: Mondays and Wednesdays 2-2:50 p.m. in room 2E-25 & Thursdays 3-3:50 p.m. in room 2E-25
Sit to Fit: Mondays 3-3:30 p.m. in room 2E-25
Senior Strength: Tuesdays 2-2:50 p.m. in room 2E-25
Intro to Whole Health: The 2nd Friday of every month 8-10 a.m. (offered at all Community Based Outpatient Clinics via video teleconference, with the exception of the Dickinson VA Clinic) & the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 4-6 p.m. in room 2E-10
Taking Charge of My Life & Health: 6-week series in room 2E-10
Whole Health Coaching: Offered Monday through Friday by appointment in room 2E-25 (telephone option available)
Food & Drink
Eat Well, Be Well: The 4th Thursday of every month 10:30-11:30 a.m. in room 2E-25
Eat Right, Live Strong: 3-part series offered quarterly on Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 a.m. in room 2E-25
Power of the Mind
Intro to Mindfulness: 3-week series offered monthly on Wednesdays 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in room 2E-10
Exercise the Mind: Mondays 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in room 2E-25
Reiki: Tuesdays and Thursdays in Fargo, Jamestown, and Bismarck
Spirit and Soul
Veterans Coffee Hour: The 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month 12:45-1:45 p.m.
