Fargo VA Health Care System Director
Dr. Breton M. Weintraub is the Director of the Fargo VA Health Care System. Before assuming the role of Director, Dr. Weintraub was the Chief of Staff for the Fargo VA Health Care System. Dr. Weintraub joined VA in 2002, assuming ever-increasing leadership responsibilities as the Chief of Primary Care in 2005 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI, and as the Associate Chief of Staff for Primary Care and Specialty Medicine at the Fargo VA Health Care System in 2012. Dr. Weintraub completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1991 and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1994. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of AOA.

Fargo VA Health Care System Associate Director for Operations and Resources
Dale DeKrey is the Fargo VA Health Care System Associate Director for Operations and Resources. Mr. DeKrey has also served as the Chief of Engineering Service for the Fargo VA Health Care System. Mr. DeKrey began his career at the Fargo VA Health Care System as a Project Engineer in 1987. He holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University.

Fargo VA Health Care System Chief of Staff
Dr. Jeffrey A. Rondeau is the Chief of Staff of the Fargo VA Health Care System. Before assuming his current role, Dr. Rondeau was the Associate Chief of Staff for the Primary Care/Specialty Medicine Service Line for the Fargo VA Health Care System. After leaving the Army in 2005, he worked in the private sector for nine years as a staff OB/GYN. He joined the Fargo VA in 2015. In addition to his current duties, Dr. Rondeau serves as the Women’s Health Medical Director and Maternity Care Coordinator. Dr. Rondeau completed his medical degree at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1994 and competed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1998. He is board certified in OB/GYN, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of AOA.

Fargo VA Health Care System Associate Director for Patient Care/Nurse Executive
Rodney Gellner is the Associate Director for Patient Care for the Fargo VA Health Care System. He obtained his nursing degree from Jamestown College, Jamestown, ND, and his Master’s Degree in Health and Human Services Administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Rochester, MN. Mr. Gellner has more than 15 years of clinical experience, most recently serving as the Fargo VA HCS’s Associate Chief Nurse for the Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service Line. Mr. Gellner has worked at the Fargo VA since 2003.
