The Fargo VA Medical Foster Home program has welcomed its 2nd Veteran into the program! The Veteran has settled in well and is getting to know his caregiver and his new home. Please join us on wishing him well!
 
The Medical Foster Home program offers an alternative to nursing home placement for veterans who can no longer live independently. It provides 24-hour supervision and assistance with daily care, as well as the fun and flexibility of living in a family home. The Veteran pays the caregiver a monthly rate based on care needs. Homes and caregivers are inspected by the VA for safety and experience.

More Medical Foster Homes are needed! If you live within 50 miles of the Fargo VA Health Care System, have an extra room in your home for a Veteran, and have caregiving experience call Loni Larson, MFH Program Coordinator at 701-232-3241, Ext 4394 today!
