The goal of the Fargo VA LIVING WELL Program is to give Veterans the resources needed to better manage chronic health conditions.  If this interests you, consider joining us in one of the upcoming Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshops located in Fargo, Bemidji or Jamestown.

These workshops are designed to help participants develop the skills needed for improved management of their chronic health condition(s).

Topics covered include:

  • Managing pain/fatigue
  • Proper nutrition
  • Communication
  • Appropriate exercises
  • Appropriate use of medications
  • Dealing with frustration
  • Disease-related problem solving
  • informed decisions/advanced directives

Participation is free and open to any Veteran with a chronic health condition such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, depression, etc.  Spouses and support persons are also invited to attend.  Pre-registration is required.
