Fargo VA Health Care System
Fargo VA offering Veterans services in Roseau
The Fargo VA Health Care System will start offering outreach services the third Thursday of every month at the Roseau County Courthouse in Roseau, Minn., on Jan. 19, 2017.
Two Fargo VA HCS staff members will be available at the courthouse from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to assist with any VA questions or needs. Veterans may pre-schedule a time or simply arrive on the day.
From 3:30 to 5 p.m., two group sessions at the courthouse will be led by VA staff members:
- Veteran’s Group – This is a group open to any Veteran of any war era. The focus of each session will be dependent on group members’ needs. Focused education will be provided based on areas of need identified by group members.
- Caregiver Group – This group is open to anyone who considers themselves a Caregiver or support person to a Veteran. The purpose of this group is to provide a welcoming environment where Caregivers of Veterans can voice their challenges and stories as Caregivers. The group facilitator will provide Caregivers with education, support, encouragement, and guidance on how best to care for their loved one while still caring for themselves.
